It may seem that I'm pushing it as an anime anyone with a silly story, but it is not so. This emotion.. it´s gratitude I guess". - Livius I often start to watch many shoujo/romance anime with a bit of skepticism, due to many of them are very stereotypical and doesn't bring something new and interesting (and don't even get me started about the damsel in distress-card that's being played way to often). It is still a puzzle why this anime has such low ratings because if anything Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii deserves a higher rating than it is getting. The idea of rain summoning through music is an interesting one, and does add some points of interest. The sound track for these bits was really enjoyable and they did make some emotional connections. Saying this as my personal opinion, I could say that some of those new series can be called "boring and nonsensical". I could also say that, Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii isn't like those anime that I dropped watching. It did an outstanding job without expectation. Before this anime came out, I knew it was from a shoujo manga, and I thought it was just going to be decent, in a good way.
