The Hub City Spartanburgers professional baseball team revealed the new name at a block party May 11, 2024. The team released its schedule of 2025 home games, including two series against the Greenville Drive.

SPARTANBURG— Baseball fans, are you ready to mark your calendars?
The Hub City Spartanburgers, the High-A Texas Rangers affiliate that starts playing in Spartanburg next year, released the schedule of their 66 home games.
The team kicks off the 2025 season April 15 by hosting the Bowling Green (Ky.) Hot Rods for a six-game series at Fifth Third Park stadium, which is still under construction but on track to be completed ahead of the game.

The following week, the Spartanburgers face theirnew regional rival, the Greenville Drive, for another six-game series at home.
The team expects to release a promotional schedule that will include such events as firework nights, Bark in the Park and Thirsty Thursdays.
