Overview
Snake Charmer is one of Durango's best rocky, technical trails. Pick your way down this trail while enjoying views of town and the mountains.
Description
To access Snake Charmer you'll start your climb up what looks like a wide fire road. You'll then turn left off the road and climb a short rocky section before getting to the Lower Half Ridge intersection. Climb the Lower Half Ridge trail all the way to the top. After climbing the main trail, stay left and pass a large concrete pad. This is the top of Snake Charmer. Dropping into Snake Charmer, riders will experience a thrill of rocky descents at the top with a few fun drops. The middle section of this trail has some fun flowy banked turns before turning back into rocky flow. Once you finish Snake Charmer, follow your way back to the intersection where you took Lower Half Ridge up. Follow your path back down the rocky section and the road back to your car.
